Originally posted by Fenrir:You do realize they developed the game on PC before putting it on console, right.? If anything, the console version is the port, lol. Also, BB Studios is basically the same like Square Enix's Creative Business Units, since they're still operating under one roof, but with different projects from one and another. That's basically saying that FF VIIR's sales is affecting Neo: TWEWY's, since they're from the same devs, which is clearly not. Meanwhile, GBO 2 is vastly different from those 2 games, so it can definitely co-exists nicely, since it caters a different kind of players (those who loves grounded military sim will prefer GBO 2, instead of EXVS or Gundam Evolution).Īnd, again, SRW sales doesn't have any kind of impact on GBO 2's port decision, since both games are DIFFERENT in literally everything, despite being developed by the same devs. Originally posted by Aya:I'm not entirely too confident about the overlap between EXVS, GBO2, and Evolutionīoth EXVS and Gundam Evolution are fast-paced Gundam action games with team aspects, so they definitely gonna attract the same players, and gonna overlap one and another. I love how that search URL is more up to date than BB Studio's own website When it comes to Japanese games on PC, "same developers" is often the only thing that two games really need to have in common with one another in order to decide whether or not the developer wants to consider putting other games on Steam. Between GBO2 and Evolution however, the only similarities they have are that they're both shooters using the Mobile Suit Gundam IP, but they are developed with completely different design philosophies in mind.Īs for why I mentioned Super Robot Wars 30's success on Steam, I think it's relevant to GBO2 because even if they are both completely different games, they are both developed by BB Studio Co, Ltd. I'm not entirely too confident about the overlap between EXVS, GBO2, and EvolutionĮXVS is a fighting game, while GBO2 and Evolution are both shooters. They wanted GBO 2 on PC, because they wanted to expand the market, while pushing their Gundam e-Sports plans for next year, since PC is more prefered than consoles due to graphics & performance aspects. If anything, its SD Gundam Genesis & Crossrays, and also SRW V, T, & X sales that drives it. GBO 2 is picked instead of EXVS, because they don't want to overlap with Gundam Evolution, in which both are fast-paced action games, while GBO 2 is grounded & semi-realistic.Īnd SRW sales doesn't have anything about GBO 2, since both are very different games with different market share (comparing a TPS to Turn-based Strategy is weird). I was able to download smaller rom packs so I don't think it's a site wide issue.Originally posted by Aya:I still think EXVS would've been the better pick for Gundam games on PC, but I already know what it'd take to get that ported over.Īnd I'm pretty sure that we got GBO2 due to how well Super Robot Wars 30 did, which in turn is a game from the same developers The government(s) across the world are all corrupt so until we know the answer everything is a 'conspiracy theory' because they refuse to disclose what's going on which only makes them look bad. I don't know if it's the website doing it or if the individual owners block people they don't like for whatever personal agenda or if some outside third party but you have to just download the ones you want and not do collections. It turns out Java I think might have been the problem? But there is no indication that was the issue but it seems to have been fixed. ![]() Update: I found out my Java was a long time not updated on a hunch I decided to see if that might fix it which my next step would've been to reinstall Jdownloaer 2. I finally got the file I wanted thru Jdownloader 2 indivdually. ![]() Internet Archive randomly drops connections over 1GB in size and some files don't fully make it. Hence I dropped it a star due to the process involved. IE: The letter H is one such letter with 'Missing files'. ![]() Update to the Update: Some letters say 'Missing files' so if I want to I'll have to fish them out manually in the actual archive.
